The Hudson Pride Center

Hudson Pride Connections Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community-based organization situated in the Journal Square neighborhood in Jersey City, one of the most vibrant and diverse cities in this country and home to the largest LGBTQ community in New Jersey.  Hudson Pride was established in 1993 to serve as an advocate for both the LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS communities in Hudson County and more than 20 years later, we are still delivering a wide array of services, programs and events.

Hudson Pride Connections Center is a home and voice for the diverse LGBTQ community and our allies that advocates for our physical, mental, social and political well-being. We create safe and vibrant spaces to gather and celebrate our lives.

The Marsha P. Johnson Institute

An organization founded in 2015 that works to create a crucial entry point for Black transgender women to advocate for an end to violence against all trans people through advocacy, transformative organizing, restoration, civil disobedience and direct action.

The Marsha P. Institute is a response to the senseless murders of Black trans women. We seek to stop the violence and encourage other Black trans women to unite and organize from within our communities, for our communities.

The organization is credited for organizing the first ever National Day of Action for Black Trans Women in response to the murders of Amber Monroe, Kandis Capri, and Elisha Walker and held organized events in multiple cities including New York City,Chicago, and Washington DC.
